Home Invasion Suspect Arrested.

On January 28, 2012, 34 year old Dante Xavia Duffy of Charlotte, NC was arrested in East Spencer on charges of 1st Degree Burglary, Felony Larceny, Felony of Possession of a Firearm, Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, Assault by Pointing a Gun, Simple Assault, Communicating Threats and 2 counts of Resisting a Public Officer.

Duffy was secured under a $500,000.00 bond.

Charged for Felony Poss. of a Firearm

On Sunday January 13, 2013, 48 year old Donald Ray Simpson (DOB 7-2-1964) of Salisbury was placed under arrest for Felony Possession of a Firearm, Carry a Concealed Weapon and Driving While License Revoked. Mr. Simpson was transported to the Rowan County Magistrates Office where he was secured under a $15,000.00 secure bond. 

Charges for Assault & Robbery

 











On Thursday January 3, 2012, 24 year old Demario Obryan Bost (left) of East Spencer and 33 year old Ricky Lee Hoskins Jr. (right) of Salisbury were charged by East Spencer Police Department for Simple Assault and Common Law Robbery which took place at Reed's Square located at N. Long St. and Andrews St. from November 12, 2012. Bost was charged 3 counts of Simple Assault and 1 count of Common Law Robbery. Hoskins was charged 1 count of Simple Assault and 1 count of Common Law Robbery.  Bost was taken to the Rowan County Jail where he was secured under a $11,500.00 bond. Hoskins was served his chargers at the jail due to being held on other pending charges. Hoskins bond was raised an additional $25,000.00. 

Bost was also served warrants for Tresspassing and Damage to Property involving a seperate investigation.

Demario Bost Charged on 4 Counts of Assault

On Saturday November 24, 2012, 24 year old Demario Obryan Bost of East Spencer was arrested by East Spencer Police Department and charged for 2 counts of assault with a deadly weapon, 1 count of assault on a female and 1 count of assault by pointing a gun. Mr. Bost was taken to the Rowan County Jail where he was secured under a $6,000.00 bond.

Rasheed Maddox Charged

On Friday November 9, 2012 East Spencer Police arrested Rasheed Anthony Maddox of East Spencer for Larceny of a Motor Vehicle. Mr. Maddox was transported to the Rowan County Magistrate’s Office and was secured under a $10,000 bond. While at the Jail Mr. Maddox was also served 2 Criminal Summons reference Trespassing and Damage to Property.

Multiple Charges on Vito Gagliardo

On Monday, August 13, 2012 East Spencer Police arrested Mr. Vito Gagliardo of Spencer for Reckless Driving and DUI. Mr. Gagliardo was transported to the Rowan County Magistrate’s office where he was also charged with Resisting a Public Officer, Disorderly Conduct and Communicating Threats.  Mr. Gagliardo was secured under a$2,000.00 bond.

On Friday October 12, 2012 Mr. Vito Gagliardo was charged again for DUI and was transported to the Rowan Regional Medical Hospital for injuries he sustained in a vehicle accident. Mr. Gagliardo's license was also confiscated for refusal of giving a blood sample.

East Spencer Arrest for DUI & Drugs on Hwy 85.

On September 12, 2012, East Spencer Police arrested Ingrid Tullos for DUI, open container, possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and cited for speeding 85mph in a 55mph work zone on Interstate 85. Ms. Tullos was transported to the Rowan County Jail and secured on a $500.00 bond.

2 Arrests in Armed Robbery

On Wednesday September 5, 2012, 17 year old Joseph Lamont Wilder (left) and 18 year old Demitri Bernard Wade (right) were arrested by East Spencer Police Department on charges of armed robbery.

Both individuals were secured in the Rowan County Jail under a $100,000.00 bond.

DUI Driver Attempts to Flee from Accident.

22 year old Aaron Honeycutt of Mooresville, NC, was arrested on 8/4/2012 on charges of DUI, Reckless Driving, two counts of Assault on an Officer, Resisting a Public Officer, Drunk and Disruptive Behavior as well as Possession of Stolen Property. Honeycutt was secured under a $2,500.00 bond.   

3 Arrests made at 310 Torbush.

D'Andre Mitchell, Carmeshia Mitchell and Timothy Chawlk were arrested on out standing warrants by East Spencer Police Department and Rowan County Deputys. D'Andrea Mitchell was secured under a $20,000.00 bond on a charge for Armed Robbery. Carmeshia Mitchell was secured under a $1,000.00 bond on a charge of Shoplifting Larceny. Timothy Chawlk was arrested/processed by Rowan County. His bond and charge(s) are not available at this time.
